- Windows — right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All.
- Mac — double-click it; a folder appears alongside.
- Android — most file managers extract it; otherwise any free ZIP app will.
- iPhone — tap the ZIP in the Files app and it unpacks into a folder.

Splitting is often the first half of a job:
- Want pages 3, 4 and 9 as one file? Split, then merge just those three.

A note on sensitive documents

Will splitting change the quality?

Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Unlock it first with Remove PDF Password. A locked file cannot be split.
How are the files named?
By page number, so they sort in the original order after extraction.
